My topic is Underage Drinking. My research question was that "Should we care kids are drinking not at the legal age? In addition, my claim was that "Underage drinking is a huge problem that affcets kids. I'm interested in this topic because I've seen a lot of kids pass away or ruin their future and all the goals that they had and it all goes to the trash. I know there is tons of kids out there that drinki alcohol at a very early age and they know what they're doing to their bodies or future. I guess the audience that I'm trying to reach are parents and the kids that are drinking alcohol. I want them to realize what is actually going on when they drink it and what can they do to stop them and help them.

In all honesty, I believe everyone in my class did a good job presenting their topics. They were well informed, attentive, and prepared. Some class mates even were funny in their presentation which was good because they make the audience draw in even more and not get distracted. I also liked how they were looki ng at us instead of their presentation which makes them look good because we know they were informed on their topic.

"Stand by me" was an interesting topic for me. The songs meaning is that no matter how strong you are and how you think you may not need no one, in the need you really do need someone. This hit me because i'm usually the type of person to keep to myself and not really express what i'm feeling but when i heard this song, I know in the end you actually do need someone. One of the images that stood out to me was the picture that everyone stood together and were singing their heart out.   The author, Gerald Jones was trying to proof that "violent media is good for the kids". He states that it helps control and cope with emotions and feelings that they may have that are balled up inside of them. He gives examples of his own past stating that he was a silent kid and unsocial and wouldn't really talk to anyone and just keep to himself. When he discovered the comic book "hulk" he said felt himself more than he ever did. It pushed him to do many things such as his son when he also read a comic about Tarzan. He would have never climbed the tree if it weren't for that book. In conclusion, he's simply stating that sometimes violence media can sometimes free kids from their fears or disadvantages that they may have.        On February 14, 2017, 17 people were killed by a 19 year old named Nikolas Cruz. Paragraph 2 talks about the thesis statement because it's bringing up an argument stating that college is a waste of a time and we should start doing something else outside of class. Paragraph 4 brings up the fact that college is expensive and is getting even more expensive since it was 30 years ago. Paragraph 7 is more of an opinion, it's saying that "we should encourage young people to consider paths outside of college". Not everyone believes that college is a waste of time. Some argue that we need college in our lives in order to have a good job. First of all, in the first video Sarah sanders was talking about how the president is so sure that a special counsel named Robert Mueller will end the investigation soon on the Russia situation. Sanders said that each day the investigation goes on, instead of closing out of the case, the problem is expanding on the democrats. Sanders is explaining this situation by using Logos. Its due to the fact that she has reason that the investigation finally closing out on the president. Second video, Tomi Lahren was talking about how she’s mad and Americans are mad because the government is spending money on a ridiculous investigation. She said that we can use that money on many different things that can benefit us, instead of wasting it on useless investigations.
